Management Accountant

A dynamic business on the outskirts of Preston are looking to appoint a Management Accountant/FP&A Manager for a minimum period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.

This well-known brand is embarking on a 5 year growth strategy which will see turnover increasing by approximately 200% through entering overseas markets and expanding the services they provide.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:

Working in a team of 5 finance staff, as Management Accountant duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow monitoring
• Budget meetings with HODs
• Financial modelling
• Ad hoc reporting
• Building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Contributing to ongoing systems/process developments

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in the business partnering elements of the role. Full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate a sufficient level of experience relevant to the role. Strong systems skills are required including Excel.
