About Kenton Black:

Kenton Black is a well-established business based on the outskirts of Preston, looking to appoint a Accounting and Reporting Specialist to join their team for a minimum period of 12 months. This role will cover maternity leave and provide an opportunity to contribute to the company's 5-year growth strategy.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team to prepare monthly management accounts, perform balance sheet reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and attend budget meetings with senior managers. Additionally, they will be responsible for financial modelling, ad-hoc reporting, building relationships with stakeholders, and contributing to system development.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Candidates should have a professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
