Location: London Heathrow Airport

Start Date: ASAP – Oct start 2024

End date: 6+ months

Hours per week: 40 hours

Pay Rate per hour: upto £41 London – depending on experience

Qualification required for this role: Quantity Surveying background – post contract and commercial experience NEC4, Highways, Aviation

Expenses: yes, for only site travel 2 to 3 days (not overnight)

Vetting Level: A, B, C – BPSS required

Job Description

We need QSs with NEC administration experience, pre contract proc experience (understanding of proc legislation) and can demo they can get evaluate a tender and get into contract and post contract administration. experience of multi dis large scale infra/civils works please.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

· Professional qualifications e.g. MRICS, APM, CEng, CIPS or able to demonstrate equivalent capability.

· Minimum of 2 years post professional qualification experience in Construction and/or Professional Services within a Commercial role.

· Demonstrable experience in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models relevant to business area of operation including but not limited to NEC.

· Demonstrable experience of working in a large infrastructure programs interfacing with project managers, planners, risk managers and project controls

· Experience of working in an integrated project team involving supplier partnering organizations.

Competencies:

This role will support the sourcing, procurement, contract assurance, implementation and post[1]contract management activities. This will involve working closely with business stakeholders to create and execute short and long-term procurement strategies for the relevant sub programs which will best position Heathrow to maximize value delivery, minimize risk and delivery the agreed benefits of the programs through cost saving, revenue generation or improved Airport operations

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Working towards professional qualifications e.g. MRICS, CIPS, APM, CEng or willingness to commit to pursuing

Graduate level supported by professional qualifications of commercial or legal bias or able to demonstrate equivalent capability coupled with experience in procurement/legal roles.

Experience/Interest in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models and specifically in NEC based Contracting environments, using a range of reimbursement models.

Experience/Interest of delivering Projects to meet business affordability targets. Experience/interest of working in an integrated project team involving supplier partnering organizations.

Experience/interest of working in a matrix organization.

Experience/interest in managing teams across different locations.

Evidence/interest of/in continuous professional development.

Demonstrable experience/interest of/in working in a structured process environment supported by an on-going desire to continually improve
