1:1 Support: Work closely with a pupil with ASD, adapting learning activities to fit their needs and help them engage positively with the curriculum.
Structured Learning Environment: Create a safe, structured, and supportive space that encourages the pupil's academic and social development.
Collaboration: Work with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning strategies.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and document the pupil's progress, sharing insights with the teaching team to support ongoing development.
Positive Behaviour Support: Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour, helping the pupil build confidence and independence in the classroom.Who We're Looking For in a SEN Teaching Assistant:
