SEND Teacher - Sheffield

Career Teachers are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to start in December 2024 at an outstanding SEN school.

This large SEN School in Central Sheffield caters for pupils aged 5 - 16. It is already a wonderful school with a friendly ethos, a great environment, and a high quality of teaching and learning. You will access excellent training and professional development and will have the chance to shape the future development of your school. Special school teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver effective lessons which cater to the needs of individual EHCP plans
Be responsible for all assessments relating to class students
Be aware of, and remain responsible for all safeguarding of pupils within your care
Work collaboratively with both teaching and support staff to ensure best outcomes for students
Foster independence in students and promote wellbeing and good welfareAbout Us
