Early Years Teaching Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist with the planning of learning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to support lesson plans and learning outcomes.
Assisting pupils' achievements by monitoring, supporting and having strong communication with class teacher.
Lead individual/small groups of children in teacher-led learning activities such as reading, phonics and math's interventions.
Maintain up keep of classroom resources and preparation of materials (e.g. books, pencils, art supplies, games, P.E activity set up etc.)
Support children with their independence and confidence both inside and outside of the classroom
Encourage the children through play-based learning both indoors and outdoors, helping to develop their social, emotional and physical well beingEarly Years Teaching Assistant Non-Negotiables:

Must have recent and relevant experience working with children and young people in an educational setting.
Experience in EYFS, Nursery or KS1 setting.
Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills in line with the National Curriculum.
A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for a new one
