Are you an enthusiastic, engaging and creative special educational needs teaching assistant seeking new opportunities in the Swansea area? The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:
• Getting the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards so as to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
• Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
• Differentiating for the various needs of the pupils
• Helping Teachers manage student behavior
• Empathetic and nurturing features
• Patience and great communication skills
Make a difference to young minds.
The successful candidate will have the following;

• Understanding of teaching methods
• Compassion and adaptability
Students, graduates or experience in childcare will benefit from our FREE training courses:
• Online PREVENT Training (CPD accredited)
• Online Level 2 – Safeguarding children in schools (CPD accredited)
• Team Teach training: Effective classroom management techniques
We also have training and guides all are available to our candidates in the following areas: A guide to becoming a cover supervisor, how to deal with challenging behavior, SEND/ALN, Autism awareness, Formative and summative assessment, Classroom support – The role of a teaching assistant and a Guide to tutoring.
As a teaching assistant, you require:
• An enhanced Child Workforce DBS (desirable, but not essential)
• 2 years of professional references
• Hold right to work in the UK
• An ambition to inspire young people
