Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackburn
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible hours available)

The Role:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students in Years 1 and 2. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the delivery of engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Providing tailored support to individual and small groups of children, particularly those with additional learning needs
Supporting children's social, emotional, and behavioural development
Helping with classroom organisation, resources, and maintaining a positive and stimulating learning environment
Observing and recording student progress, providing feedback to the teacher as needed
Building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to learningThe Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for candidates who:

Have experience working with children, preferably within a school setting
Are passionate about early childhood education and supporting children's development
Are patient, nurturing, and committed to helping children reach their potential
Have strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) is desirable, though not essential
