KS2 Teaching Assistant - Catholic Primary School (Local to Walsall, WS1)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming Catholic primary school in Walsall (WS1). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual with a strong background in behaviour management and previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 child-related qualification.
Proven UK experience in managing behaviour effectively within a KS2 setting.
Previous UK experience working with SEND children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and adaptability.
A commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos of the school while supporting pupils of all backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.Role Responsibilities:

Provide support to the class teacher and assist in the delivery of the KS2 curriculum.
Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils requiring additional support, including those with SEND.
Implement behaviour management strategies effectively to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Foster strong relationships with pupils, encouraging their development and engagement in the classroom.
Support the Catholic values and ethos of the school in all interactions and activities.Benefits:
