TEMP TO PERM POSITION

Must have held your HGV1 licence 1 years

Contract Length: 12 weeks to Ongoing permanent

Hours of Work: 18.30pm – Finish.

Availability Required: Shift pattern 6 on 2 nights off 5 nights on 1 night off

Weekdays and weekends included.

Location: Portsmouth

We are on the lookout for a Class 1 driver, Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1 General Haulage night TEMP TO PERM drivers to join our team, to work on behalf of our client based in Portsmouth.

Class 1 driver, Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1 General Haulage NIGHT drivers Role and Responsibilities:

* The main duties of this role will be:

* Driving HGV1 articulated General Haulage

* Keeping all paperwork and electronic records updated.

* Maintaining an accurate record of break times according to WTD regulations;

* Adhering to both agencies and client’s regulations and procedures;

* Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered

* Carry out effective communications

* Ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Class 1 driver, Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1 General Haulage drivers Skills and Experience:

* A Full UK Driving Licence

* Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)

* Must hold a Digital Tachograph card

* Must not have more than 6 points on the licence

* Must have at least 1 years of experience of HGV1 driving

* Must have a good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations.

* A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities

* At least 1 years’ experience working within the Transport Industry

* A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
