Job Title: HGV1 Night Driver

We are seeking a skilled HGV1 driver to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for driving HGV1 articulated general haulage vehicles and maintaining accurate records of break times according to WTD regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive HGV1 articulated general haulage vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of break times according to WTD regulations
  • Adhere to both agencies and client's regulations and procedures
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
  • Carry out effective communications
  • Ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements:
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
  • Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
  • Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
  • Must not have more than 6 points on the licence
  • Must have at least 1 year's experience of HGV1 driving
  • Must have a good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
