Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Wem.

For the successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:

Starting salary on offer is up to £39,561.60 depending on experience
The salary is made up of £14.35 per hour, 0.75p per hour attendance bonus / 0.75 performance bonus (£15.85 per hour)
This role will be working 4 on 4 off DAYS - 7am-7pm, initially training on a Monday to Thursday 6:30am-6:30pm
Permanent position

20 days + 8 bank holidays
Overtime opportunities - Paid at basic rate
The role – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

Investigate all equipment failures, recommend and implement improvements 
Participate in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
Providing minimal downtime to Production
Installing & setting up new areas within Production as required
Working on a variety of Motors, Conveyors, Chains, Robots
Liaising with external contractors on some of the Sites equipment / machinery
Developing the Planned maintenance system ensuring preventative maintenance tasks are maximised
Focusing on Continuous Improvement
Maintaining a high level of Health & Safety
What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
Experienced in Planned Preventative Maintenance
Possess experience with Motors, Conveyors, Chains & Robots
Possess maintenance experience with a Food based environment - Highly desirable
Knowledge of food hygiene regulations
Key skills or similar Job titles:

Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician
