About the role:

Are you an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher ready to inspire curiosity and growth in early learners? Starting in January 2025, this part-time role is perfect for a dedicated educator who loves creating a stimulating classroom where children can explore and grow at their own pace. You’ll be leading a nurturing Reception class, encouraging play-based learning, and guiding children through those crucial first steps in their educational journey. With small class sizes and additional support from a Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the time and space to focus on each child’s development and learning milestones.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• An up-to-date DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
• A passion for child-centered, play-based learning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging EYFS lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning styles and needs.
• Use formative assessments to track each child’s progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Encourage children’s personal, social, and emotional development through imaginative play and structured activities.
