The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Preston for the academic year from January to August 2025. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of learning and help students develop strong mathematical skills. Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
Assessing, tracking, and providing constructive feedback on student progress
Creating an inspiring and dynamic classroom environment
Supporting students to develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching practices and enhance the Maths curriculum
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to differentiate lessons to support a wide range of abilities
