Cath Lab – Staff Nurse
Location: Central London
Employment: Full Time, Permanent – 37.5hrs per week. (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 a year
Looking to join one of the UK’s leading Cardiovascular centres? One of the biggest private hospitals in London are looking for a nurse to join their Cath Lab team. Home to 2 Cath Labs, performing a wide range of both invasive and non-invasive procedures, along with some interventional radiology procedures.
The Cath Lab nurse responsibilities will include:
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
* Assist in the planning, preparation, and coordination of various diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
* Provide patient care and support throughout these procedures by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with necessary interventions as required
Key Areas of Involvement Include:
* Cardiac Interventional Procedures
* Structural Heart Procedures
* Electrophysiology Studies
* Device Implants
* Additional Procedures
* Rotation through Interventional Radiology
The Cath Lab nurse must have:
* NMC registration
* Previous experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiology is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and time management skills
