Working Supervisor (Shuttering Works/Concrete Pours)
About Us:
We are a small but fast-growing construction company specialising in concrete pours shuttering works and all aspects of civil engineering We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. To support our growth, we are looking for a Working Supervisor with a strong background in shuttering and formwork to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and reliable Working Supervisor with hands-on experience in all aspects of shuttering works for concrete pours. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading small teams, managing on-site activities, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all shuttering and formwork activities on-site.
* Lead a small team of operatives, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
* Ensure all works are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications.
* Liaise with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
* Provide hands-on support as needed, working alongside the team.
* Maintain and enforce health and safety standards on-site.
* Oversee the quality control of concrete pours and formwork.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in shuttering, formworks, and concrete pours.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Valid CSCS card (or equivalent certification).
