At SEND Inclusion Support, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment, specifically for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as those facing mental health challenges. We specialise in both temporary and permanent staffing solutions within the education and residential sectors, prioritising quality over short-term supply services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate, dynamic, and qualified Nurture Teachers to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and will have a strong understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As an Nurture Teacher, you will be committed to making a significant and positive difference in the lives of students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver targeted, personalised interventions to support students with SEMH and SEND, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.

* Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that motivates and encourages students to thrive.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to implement and review Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) where necessary.

* Regularly monitor, assess, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continued development.

* Engage in community outreach activities to promote inclusivity and strengthen support for students and their families.

* Provide weekly progress reports for students involved in our outreach programme.

Qualifications and Skills:

* PGCE with QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).

* Experience in supporting students with SEMH and SEND needs is highly desirable.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

* A compassionate and patient approach to teaching and learning.

* Flexibility and adaptability in response to the evolving needs of students.

Additional Information:

This role requires an Enhanced DBS Certificate. If you have a current DBS certificate on the update service, this would be preferred, though not mandatory.

Pay: £26.00 - £30.00 per hour

Schedule:

* Monday to Friday

* Day shift

* Flexitime (no weekends required)
