Are you an inspiring and dedicated teacher passionate about supporting children with complex needs? Birchwood School, a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Bolton, is seeking a Complex Nurture Primary School Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team.
About the Role:
As a Complex Nurture Teacher, you will play a key role in providing tailored educational support to children with complex learning needs. You will work closely with a team of specialists to create a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment that encourages both academic and personal development. Your role will involve planning, delivering, and assessing a curriculum that meets the individual needs of our students, ensuring their progress and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons for children with complex needs.
- Building positive relationships with students to foster emotional and social development.
- Creating and implementing personalised learning plans in collaboration with other professionals.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and reporting to parents and the school leadership team.
- Supporting students in developing essential life skills, independence, and self-confidence.
- Contributing to the overall development and ethos of the school.
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated teacher with the following qualities:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with complex or additional needs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the principles of nurture and how to apply them in the classroom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children.
- Patience, creativity, and a commitment to nurturing students in a supportive and inclusive environment.
