Sales Coordinator

On behalf of our client, a well-established aerospace manufacturing company, we are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their expanding team in Hinckley. The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial, sales or planning role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with a variety of customers through different communication channels.

* Complete contract review on new orders received.

* Work closely with the Engineering and Commercial teams.

* Input new orders into the ERP system.

* Manage open orders and delivery status updates to customers.

* Address and resolve any customer issues.

* Work with customers portals to update delivery commitments.

* Ensure planning and production lead times are respected through launch and completion.

* Working with the Supply Chain team to ensure that any manufacturing order delayed due by raw material shortages is discussed & recovered.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Minimum 2 years experience in similar role.

* An understanding & working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is a must.

* Good communication skills both written & verbal.

* Work effectively in a team and able to use your own initiative.

* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

* Build relationships with other departments in the business to resolve issues.
