Are you ready to join a top-tier parcel delivery team that's making a difference?
Gi Group is thrilled to partner with one of the most trusted names in parcel delivery, offering you an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team.
Full training provided: 2-day introduction, 2 days out with a lead driver and built-in training to a total of 12 days.
Delivery Driver responsibilities:
* You will be required to drive a van, delivering parcels to multiple locations within your assigned area. Each route typically includes up to 180 deliveries.
* Load vans and deliver packages, by driving, stepping in and out of the vehicle safely.
* Use GPS system to make deliveries.
Delivery Driver required skills:
* Full UK or EU Driving License (held for at least 1 year)
* Must be 19+ years old for insurance purposes.
* Experience in driving roles is not required.
* A maximum of 6 points on your licence (No IN, DR, DG or TT codes)
* Willingness to complete a DBS check and drug/alcohol test.
* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
* Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 25 kgs)
Delivery Driver Pay:
* Pay rate - £108 - £126 exc. VAT per day with weekly pay + performance-based bonuses and overtime available
Delivery Driver Shift:
* Working up to 9 hours a day
* Committed full-time shifts every week, with flexible options
* Flexible schedule: Can work up to 6 days per week available, some weekend work will be required
* part time work available.
