Role Overview

Improve and develop supplier processes to meet procurement and quality management goals. This includes training suppliers on requirements, analysing their performance, and participating in improvement initiatives.
Monitor and manage the safety, quality, and delivery performance of assigned suppliers using established metrics and KPIs.
Enhance supplier capabilities by fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven management.
Keep abreast of product requirements and effectively communicate quality standards and initiatives.
Work collaboratively with global functional departments with minimal supervision.
Support and execute supplier qualification activities in line with global business management procedures.The Candidate

Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as 6 Sigma and 8D, and familiarity with 5S and Lean principles.
Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to present and train effectively.
In-depth knowledge of core manufacturing and inspection processes such as forging, fabrication, machining, coating, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
Understanding of how industry and regulatory standards interact with customer requirements.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organisational skills to manage a diverse workload effectively.
Proven ability to lead and facilitate improvement projects.
