We are looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant The successful Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work in an inclusive and modernised Secondary School in Cardiff, with staff who are committed to ensuring the progression and success of their students, and in a learning environment that promotes high-quality learning, independence, teamwork, and communication.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the Class Teacher to ensure high standards of teaching, supporting students 1-2-1 with general school tasks, and helping the students develop and improve the skills and talents they need to flourish and to make a positive contribution to society.

Our successful Teaching Assistant will:

Have Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification ad/or at least 6 months classroom experience
Have ALN experience and/or 1-2-1 experience
Have good behavioural management skills/experience with challenging behaviours
Have experience in assisting with and promoting Independent Living Skills
