Job Title: Residential Childcare Trainer Assessor

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above. 
Must hold a Level 5 in Residential Childcare.
Must have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency as a Manager within a Children's Home.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards their Level 5 Residential Childcare Diploma's.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
