We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious site manager to join one of the UK's leading main contractors. The successful candidate will be based on a 72 unit residential Project in South West London, where they will report directly to the Senior Site Manager in a lean site team which offers fantastic opportunity for growth in a growing business with projects nationwide.
The ideal candidate will have a year or more experience as an assistant site manager on projects valued over £15m, ideally with a bias for managing internal aspects of the project.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the highest standards in health & safety, quality, and client service / ensuring that contracts are completed safely, per programme, on budget and snag-free.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors ensuring their work is completed to the required standard with little or no rework.
• Plan, coordinate, execute the works, and deliver the project as per contract documents.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and supply chain.
• Resource and schedule work in line with the project construction program.
Site Manager Requirements:
• Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
• Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)
• Experience with document management systems (Procore/ A-Site preferable/Collaboration systems such as BIM360/ACC is seen as an advantage)
• Ability to understand and interpret design information, drawings and specifications.
