Lettings Negotiator

At Hurford Salvi Carr we are currently looking to recruit a Lettings Negotiator to come and join our busy team based in our City and Clerkenwell office. Hurford Salvi Carr were the first residential estate agents to open an office in Clerkenwell, which means we have built up a specialist knowledge of the lettings market in the area and its wide variety of residential properties. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent office basis, Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays worked on a rota basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,000 basic salary with on target earnings to £56,750.

Key responsibilities of our Lettings Negotiator:

Registering new applicants and keeping records on Reapit

Booking and conducting tours and viewings

Follow up on enquires whilst building relationship with applicants and relocation agents

Updating Reapit database after viewings and feedback with Landlords and Tenants

Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants then arranging tenancies following company guidance and procedures

At all times ensuring client’s best interest are protected

Answering customer enquiries and providing high level of customer service

Skills and experience required of our Lettings Negotiator.

Candidates should ideally have worked in the property industry for at least 2-3 years and be familiar with the lettings process and worked in a similar role.  Good local knowledge would be preferable. We are looking for a candidate who is customer service orientated, willing to help and welcome visitors to the office and deal with lettings queries in an enthusiastic, well presented, confident and polite manner. Our Lettings Negotiator must be hard working, self-motivated, organised with a good work ethic by being punctual and reliable.
