Job Title: CAD Technician (M&E)
Location: Cambridge Or Norwich
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (Permanent Role)

Our client, a leading company in the construction and engineering sector, is currently seeking a skilled CAD Technician with experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects to join their team in Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for M&E projects, ensuring all designs meet industry standards.
Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to support the design and development of systems.
Maintain and update existing drawings and records in line with project requirements.
Assist in the coordination of design revisions and project documentation to ensure accuracy.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all technical designs.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within M&E or a similar technical environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with knowledge of Revit being highly advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
A background in technical or engineering projects would be beneficial.
