About the Company

Invision are currently representing a leading Residential Developer who possess a large presence throughout the London region, they are a cash-rich organisation, boasting one of the biggest workload pipelines within the London region. A prestigious high-specification residential developer, known for luxury projects across London, is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their team in the Central & South London Region.

Projects & Materials

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring various materials, including those for brickwork, cladding and carpentry packages.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from issuing enquiries and analysing bids to placing orders that align with project timelines.

* Ensure timely receipt of required information and requisitions, proactively managing any delays that may impact procurement.

* Collaborate with project teams to provide regular updates on procurement status and offer input during the preconstruction phase.

* Create accurate, detailed purchase orders that meet project specifications and site requirements.

* Verify that all materials purchased meet certification and design standards.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, focusing on quality, value for money, and continuous improvement.

* Manage rebate agreements and identify opportunities for new ones, presenting proposals to the Purchasing Manager.

* Conduct due diligence on new suppliers and manage their integration into the business.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

* Proven experience as a Buyer in the construction or residential development sector.

* Strong tendering and negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
