Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that encompass reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills, with a focus on both traditional and contemporary literature.
Cultivate a classroom culture that encourages students to express their thoughts and opinions while nurturing their analytical abilities.
Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet varied learning styles and needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:

A degree in English, English Literature, or a related discipline (with a recognised teaching qualification preferred) QTS.
Experience in teaching English or related subjects, whether through previous roles or student teaching placements.
A passion for literature and a commitment to helping students discover their own voice and perspective.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
