As a Project Manager in this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the fit-out of a 77kw Data Centre on a 33-acre site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This includes managing the installation of steel gantries for mechanical and electrical equipment, the fit-out of office spaces within the data hall, as well as hard and soft landscaping, roadworks, pathways, and the installation of security and boundary fencing.
You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, developing and updating the construction programme to meet key project milestones. Your role will involve managing a fully resourced project team, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring high build quality throughout. You will also liaise with the commercial team to achieve financial objectives and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring clear communication around project delays or claims.

To succeed in this role, you should have:
A third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
5+ years of construction experience, ideally within fit-out projects in fast-paced environments.
Experience working on data centre projects is highly desirable.
A proven ability to manage complex construction projects from inception to completion.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building effective relationships with stakeholders.
Commercial awareness and the ability to propose cost-effective solutions.
