Join Our Team as a Female Deputy Service Manager
Location:Ashtead, Surrey
Salary:£29,601 per annum, plus benefits. Additional £50 per sleep-in shift.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis). You will be required to be part of the on-call rota.
Contract:Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

We're looking for a Female Deputy Service Manager to join our team who can stay calm under pressure. You will be enthusiastic and take a proactive approach. You will need to have strong administration skills, be able to work and make decisions autonomously, in the absence of the home manager. If you are ambitious, looking to work towards career progression and have a manual UK driving license, you are exactly who we're looking for.
What will you be doing?

As a Deputy Service Manager, you will assist the service manager to ensure that everyone receives high quality support, the people we support and the team supporting them.
Some tasks will include rota management, staff supervisions, training new team members, leading, and supporting the team to complete support plans and risk assessments.
Working in partnership primarily with the people you support, their families and our specialist support teams as well as external agencies, you will champion skilful interactions, person-centred planning and partnership working.
You will plan and implement professionally designed support plans that genuinely improve the quality of everyday life.
You will demonstrate sound judgment and creative solutions.

Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday’s, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality. Who you will be supporting?
At Hartsbrook House, we provide supported living service to adults with a range of disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, learning disabilities and sight loss, amongst others.
The people we support love being active and enjoy going on outings and taking part in community activities and visiting the local coffee shops and restaurants, for days out.
