Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our clients growing team based in Barnsley. In this key role, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse processes. If you have experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to health and safety standards.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including stock management, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all warehouse activities.
Provide training and support to new staff members.
Monitor and maintain stock levels, reporting any discrepancies.
Enforce and maintain strict health and safety protocols in the warehouse environment.
Conduct performance reviews and set goals for team development.Key Requirements:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor is essential.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.Why Join Us?
