This long-term role runs until July 2025, with teacher training opportunities available from September 2025 for the right candidate. If you're keen to help make a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, this is the ideal position for you.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Assisting in the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and supporting students with ASD and other learning needs.
Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum.
Working closely with teachers to adapt learning resources and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
Fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and valued.
Monitoring and tracking the progress of students, reporting back to the SEN coordinator and teachers.The ideal candidate will:

Be a graduate with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
Have experience working with students with SEN or a desire to gain this experience through education and training.
Have excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different student needs.
Be proactive in providing assistance to students, helping them reach their full potential.
