Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is one such critical regulatory requirement for APE aimed at strengthening the security of online transactions and mitigating payment fraud risks. SCA mandates the implementation of multi-factor authentication for sellers when accessing their payment accounts, initiating transactions, or performing high-risk actions like updating disbursement bank accounts. This compliance effort is highly cross-functional, requiring close coordination between 1st line business teams, 2nd line Risk and Compliance, and 3rd line Audit and Assurance functions.
As a Senior Program Manager you will be responsible as a single threaded leader for developing and leading a mission-critical program to proactively identify, track, and drive essential work streams.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory expectations
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand emerging compliance risks and requirements associated with new initiatives
• Drive the design and implementation of enhancements across transactions monitoring, refunds and disbursements policies
• Provide strategic guidance and subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams
• Report on the performance, initiatives, and ongoing enhancements to senior management and the board of directors
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in program or project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA/Master degree
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
