A Leading Professional Services Organisation is Seeking a Finance Director


We are looking for an accomplished Finance Director to lead the finance division of a highly respected Professional Services organisation. This is a permanent role, reporting directly to the CEO, and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities as Finance Director

  • Financial Strategy Development: Create and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee the financial performance, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering growth and development through coaching and performance management.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other reports meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Cash Flow & Risk Management: Manage the company’s cash flow, investment plans, and financial risk management strategy.
  • Executive Guidance: Provide financial insights to the executive team and Board to guide strategic decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Analyse financial performance, identify improvement areas, and implement necessary actions.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and financial institutions.
  • Financial Innovation: Stay current with financial trends and technologies, recommending improvements to financial processes.


What We’re Looking For in a Finance Director

  • Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in a senior finance role (Finance Director or CFO level), with a deep understanding of all financial functions within large organisations.
  • Change Leadership: A track record of driving financial process improvements and leading change initiatives.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams.
