We are currently looking for Senior Analytical Development Chemist to join a growing pharmaceutical R&D company in the South Wales.


As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will lead projects using your scientific expertise to solve analytical problems.

You will be experienced in developing & validating analytical methods for novel compounds including HPLC, UPL, GC & LC-MS


Responsibilities include:


Run and lead a range of analysis in support of R&D projects using analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, NMR and LC-MS.

Carry out analytical method development and validation activities.

Troubleshoot analytical problems (instrumentation and methods).

Lead on new initiatives and mentor junior members of staff.

Write and review project reports




Ideal candidates will be

PhD qualified in chemistry or analytical chemistry and have experience working in Analytical Science within a Pharmaceutical development company.

You will have experience in HPLC method development for novel compounds and have expertise in a range of instrumentation including HPLC, GC, NMR and LC-MS.
