Key responsibilities of Sous Chef:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Oversee and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a team environment that encourages growth and collaboration.
- Contribute to menu development and introduce fresh, innovative ideas.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food costing to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
About You:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Passion for culinary arts, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
