As a Bridging Underwriter, you'll be responsible for:
  • Managing a pipeline of bridging cases and prioritising accordingly.
  • Underwriting bridging loan applications within company lending criteria.
  • Maintaining high levels of communication with brokers, applicants, surveyors, and solicitors.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service both internally and externally.
  • Collaborating with other departments such as sales, compliance, finance, and collections.
  • Thinking outside the box to overcome potential problems without adding risk.
  • Keeping up to date with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Representing the company at events as required.
