Our client is seeking an Experienced Bridging & Commercial Underwriter with a versatile skill set to support their close-knit, client-focused team. This isn’t your typical underwriting role—you’ll be actively involved across various areas of the business, supporting the Director, and helping to drive new business growth. If you’re looking to move beyond traditional underwriting, this could be the perfect fit
Location: Manchester, with hybrid or full remote options available
About the Role:
* Underwrite a range of loans, including bridging and commercial loans, seeing each case from start to finish with a meticulous approach.
* Support in daily operations, taking on diverse tasks as needed to ensure seamless operations.
* Engage with Brokers to build relationships, generate sales, and open doors to new business opportunities.
* Portfolio management

What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: At least 2 years of underwriting experience, ideally with a background in bridging and commercial finance.
* Adaptable Mindset: Willing to step into various roles within the business, from front-end to back-end support.
* Relationship Builder:Comfortable engaging with brokers, building valuable client relationships, and spotting new business opportunities
* Positive, proactive, and collaborative, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
