About the Role:


Develop and execute strategic plans for the deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems, in alignment with company objectives and market dynamics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential BESS project opportunities, conduct feasibility assessments, and evaluate site suitability. Lead the preparation of comprehensive project proposals, including technical specifications, financial models, and regulatory considerations, to secure necessary approvals and funding. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for growth in the BESS sector. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Liaise with regulatory agencies, utility companies, and other stakeholders to navigate permitting processes, address regulatory requirements, and obtain necessary approvals for project development. Monitor project progress against established KPIs, milestones, and budget targets, and provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with BESS projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and policy changes related to battery storage and renewable energy, and incorporate relevant insights into planning efforts.
