Position Overview:
The candidate in this role will be responsible for effectively managing and overseeing the administrative, operational, and financial functions of the branch. They will promote branch visibility and drive business growth by enhancing customer and community awareness of the bank's products and services. This will be essential to achieving the set targets for both operational and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Achieve the bank and branch goals through proactive sales management, both individually and by leading the team.
- Develop new deposit and loan business by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a sales and service culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation.
Human Resource Management:
- Ensure the training, development, and optimal performance of direct reports, equipping staff with the necessary tools and knowledge to deliver superior customer service and meet performance expectations.
- Plan, implement, and drive team-building initiatives to enhance team morale and maintain high levels of staff motivation.
Operations:
- Authorize payment instruments, negotiable items, and internal sundry account transactions within delegated authority limits, as well as manage the opening and closing of all accounts.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with premium clients, taking responsibility for resolving their complaints and addressing inquiries.
- Undertake additional duties as delegated by the Head of National Sales.
Administration:
- Ensure that branch premises are well-maintained, reflecting the positive image of the bank.
- Conduct periodic inspections of the branch and prepare relevant inspection reports.
- Organize and lead monthly general staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business.
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
- Proven experience in hiring and training individuals.
