The Role

Stores Controller.

Working in a small team, the Stores Controller will be a hands on role, responsible for providing a professional and efficient sample preparation and despacth for internal staff and their customers. You will require good IT and administration skills.

As a small amount of driving between two local sites is required, all applicants must have a full, valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the internal and external customer needs are met in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Logging and preparing sample requests.
  • Managing stock levels and arranging stock replenishment with the stores.
  • Raising delivery notes using internal accounts system.
  • Manage couriers to arrange and coordinate the delivery of samples, within the UK and internationally.
  • Communicate the arrival of newly developed products to the business.
  • Carry out responsibilities with due regard to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Microsoft office skills, in particular Excel.
  • Literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to ensure effective communication both internally and externally.
  • Tenacity to complete tasks to a high standard.
  • Driving licence.

Based in Powick, Worcestershire.

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.

Salary circa £26,000.
