MERJE is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor for a leading FMCG company in Glasgow. The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor:

  • Lead and deliver internal audits and investigations across the business
  • Evaluate design adequacy and operating effectiveness of financial controls
  • Provide high-quality internal audit reports to management and the Audit Committee
  • Follow up on agreed management actions
  • Stay updated with financial reporting standards and industry best practices

Required knowledge and experience for the Internal Auditor role:

  • Recognised accountancy (CCAB) qualification
  • At least 3 years post-qualifying experience in financial controls
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS and financial controls best practices
  • Experience in relevant industries (e.g., FMCG, manufacturing, retail) is desirable
