Position: Sales Executive - Transport Logistics
Location: Immingham, Grimsby, Scunthorpe (Open to Other Areas - Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 DOE

Exciting Sales Executive Opportunity in Transport Logistics

Are you a driven and motivated sales professional with a passion for logistics? We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join a well-established logistics company based in the North East of England. With nearly 50 years of experience, this business offers an incredible opportunity to grow and make an impact in the import-export, freight delivery, and European haulage sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales leads and drive business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Present compelling sales pitches and negotiate deals at all levels.
  • Manage customer accounts and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee customs clearance, pricing structures, and finalise contracts with clients.
  • Actively participate in trade events, networking, and competitor analysis.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in logistics sales, ideally with international markets such as Belgium, Germany, and Dutch regions.
  • Knowledge of short sea trailer operations is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in new business sales within the construction or building sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, commission-driven, and a team player.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad as needed.
