School Nurse Position

Nurse Seekers is working in partnership with a well-established school in the Kent countryside to find a Registered Nurse to join their medical team. The successful candidate will be employed by the school on a permanent basis and will work Monday to Friday, school hours (8 hour shifts) and term time only.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the overall health and wellbeing provision during the school day.
- Provide physical, mental health and pastoral care to ensure pupils' needs are taken care of.
- Work with pupils aged 4-19 years old, many of whom have complex needs including learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement health and wellbeing strategies to support pupils' needs.
- Registered Nurse qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Full training will be provided for Nurses coming from different settings.
