Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hydro Infrastructure Technician to join our team at CRH. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting various sites to undertake field measurements of water quantity, depth, quality, and rainfall. Additionally, the role involves installing, operating, and maintaining telemetry logging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake field measurements of water quantity, depth, quality, and rainfall
  • Install, operate, and maintain telemetry logging equipment
  • Work at heights, using ladders, and in confined spaces
  • Hold a valid UK driving license with a satisfactory driving history
  • Demonstrate awareness of potential risks and safety protocols
  • Hold GCSE qualifications or equivalent in Geography, Maths, and English, or a background in an environmental-related discipline
Requirements
  • A passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Comfortable working in water, strong swimming skills
  • Good level of computer literacy (MS Office applications)
  • Valid UK driving license with a satisfactory driving history
  • Demonstrates awareness of potential risks and safety protocols
  • Holds GCSE qualifications or their equivalent in Geography, Maths, and English, or a background in an environmental-related discipline
