We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells, a leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and food handling and hygiene standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, ensuring that all goods are stored and handled correctly.
- Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our values and standards are upheld.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating and collaborating with colleagues to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Be an excellent team player, with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Have a committed and organized approach, with a desire to succeed in your role.
- Possess the ability to work under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Be flexible to work shifts, including mornings and afternoons, and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
