Job Title: Performance Planning Engineer

At Turner & Townsend Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Performance Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project controls team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain project controls processes, templates, and tools to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement governance controls to ensure project delivery meets time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with remote teams to establish and maintain cost baselines and ensure clients receive value for money.
  • Guide and influence general contractors to ensure they are progressing in line with schedules and cash flow parameters.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving delivery and commercial issues while preparing reports on time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Create and maintain cost reports, summarizing financials in an executive-level dashboard.
  • Understand and apply change management principles to lead agreed change management processes and workflows.
  • Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to compile master project/programme schedules and agree baselines and critical paths.
  • Participate in project team risk evaluations, incorporating defined risks into Monte Carlo simulations to output quantitative impacts on project cost and schedule.
  • Work closely with project teams to stay informed on project changes, incorporating and communicating these to the project team to allow for approvals in the change management process.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project controls coordination in all phases of the project lifecycle, including program, risk, and reporting, with specialist life sciences or data centre sector experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to determine corrective actions or recommendations based on facts and figures, critically evaluating information and data from various sources.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
