Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Specialist

Assystem GmbH is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis at our customer's site in Derby.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, specifying, testing, and commissioning both bespoke and commercial Electrical Control and Instrumentation systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and specifying Electrical Control and Instrumentation systems to meet customer requirements.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation to a high standard.
- Carrying out site work to conduct design reviews, investigations, equipment trials, commissioning, and upgrade activities.
- Supporting installation and commissioning teams to resolve queries and issues during installation, set to work, and commissioning.
Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent level of continuous professional development and experience.
- Experience of engineering design to commercial standards within the electrical, control, or automation industries.
- Experience in selection and practical implementation of instrumentation solutions.
- Experience in testing, setting to work, and commissioning of C&I systems.
- Understanding of UKCA compliance and relevant European directives.
