Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our retail team as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers while generating revenue for the charity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Manage the store's visual merchandising, ensuring that the store is well-presented and visually appealing.
  • Support with stock rotation, organizing displays, and maintaining a tidy and accessible store environment.
  • Represent Age UK in a professional manner, reflecting our core values and promoting our brand.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lone work when needed.
