As a Teaching Assistant for SEN students, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality education and care.

  • Work closely with experienced SENCOs and teachers to develop and implement individualised education plans and strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with SENCOs and other staff members to design and implement individualised learning plans and interventions.
  • Assist with the implementation of sensory integration techniques and other therapies as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably within a school setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the academic and social development of students with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
